The Zona de Lazer de Queimadela is a public recreation area on Rua do Outeiro in Queimadela, parish of Queimadela, municipality of Armamar. It consists of grassy areas with tables and benches and a circular plaza with an open-air amphitheatre, which makes it suitable for picnics and small events.

Queimadela is known in the municipality for its cultural and associative life. It lies at the western edge of the territory, beside the Varosa River, in the valley of Monte Raso, with a landscape over Lamego, Régua and the Serra do Marão. The parish is above all apple country, and tile production in the village is historically documented from the Middle Ages.
