The Posto de Vigia de Armamar is a lookout tower in Cimbres, parish of Cimbres, municipality of Armamar, beside the M1104 road. It is recorded with a date of 1988 in OpenStreetMap; we found no further sources on its history.

Cimbres lies south-east of the municipal seat, in a valley crowned by the Senhora da Graça hill, and the scenery is already upland, away from the Douro. Farming here is smallholder-scale, producing fruit, cereals and potatoes; the village keeps its traditional architecture, with houses built side by side.

The post is about 7 km in a straight line from the centre of Armamar and is reached by car along the M1104. There is no published information on visits or access to the tower, so check with the municipality before climbing.
