The Pelourinho de Goujoim (Goujoim pillory) stands in the central square of Goujoim, parish of Arícera e Goujoim, municipality of Armamar.

It dates from the second half of the 17th century and, according to the municipality, is the only one in the municipality to escape the destruction of these markers of municipal authority. Around it you can see the Casa da Praça, or Casa da Câmara (the old town hall), a much altered building that still keeps its bell tower, a feature of medieval municipal buildings. Goujoim was a municipal seat in the first half of the 16th century and is said to have the richest archaeological heritage in the municipality, with a hill fort, the Mogo necropolis and a Roman milestone.

The pillory is about 5 km in a straight line from the centre of Armamar, near Rua do Soito da Igreja. Drive to the village and explore it on foot; Goujoim lies close to the Tedo River.
