One of Porto's unmissable icons, the Dom Luís I Bridge was designed by engineer Théophile Seyrig and inaugurated in 1886. With two superimposed decks — the upper for the metro and pedestrians, the lower for cars — it offers stunning views over the Douro, the Ribeira and the Gaia wine cellars.
