The Centro Interpretativo da Mulher Duriense (CIMD, Interpretation Centre of the Douro Woman) is on Avenida Doutor António Oliveira Salazar in Armamar, parish and municipality of Armamar, in the former Adega Cooperativa building.

It is a place to present, discuss and preserve the memory of the women of the Douro region, linking it with other national and international geographies. The exhibition is organised in visual and sound experiences, with texts, large-scale photographs, archive films and interviews with Douro women. The building took on this new life on 6 July 2023, and the centre is part of the Douro Museums Network (MuD). Besides visits, it hosts exhibitions, conferences and colloquia on gender equality and human rights.

According to the municipality, it is open every day except 25 December, 1 January, Easter Sunday and 24 June: in summer 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00, in winter 9:00-13:00 and 14:00-17:00. It is in the town centre. Contact: +351 254 850 807.
