The Casa do Poeta Fausto José is in Aldeias, in the parish of Aldeias, Armamar municipality, on Rua Dr. Fausto José, in the centre of the village. The name of the building and of the street recall Fausto José, a poet associated with the village.

About this house and its poet we found no reliable biographical details, dates or architectural description in the sources consulted, so this text does not offer any. What can be said with certainty is its location and setting: Aldeias is a parish created in 1947, made up of Aldeia de Cima and Aldeia de Baixo, with houses bearing coats of arms, mostly seventeenth-century, and a parish church of modern architecture. The population lives from farming, chiefly wine, potatoes and fruit.

The house is about 2.3 km in a straight line north-west of the centre of Armamar, a few steps from the parish church and the chapels of Nossa Senhora do Loureiro and Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe. No information on visits or opening hours is published; contact the Armamar municipality before planning a visit.
