The Carmo Church is one of Porto's most beautiful Baroque churches, built between 1756 and 1768. Its exterior is adorned by an imposing 20th-century azulejo panel by artist Silvestre Silvestri, depicting scenes from the founding of the Carmelite Order. The tiled façade is one of the city's most photographed postcards.
