The most iconic symbol of Porto, the Clérigos Tower was designed by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni in the 18th century. At 75 metres high, the tower offers an unmatched panoramic view over the city of Porto, the Douro river and, on clear days, the Atlantic Ocean.
