The Capela de Santo António stands in Tões, in the parish and municipality of Armamar. It is one of the small places of local devotion scattered across this hillside village.

The parish history of Armamar lists, among the heritage of Tões, the chapel of Santo António, the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Guia and the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Graça, the latter private and part of the Quinta da Lama Redonda, as well as the Fonte Velha fountain, dated 1701. We found no reliable source for the construction date of this particular chapel, or for any feast day, so none is given.
