The Capela de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe is in Aldeias, in the parish of Aldeias, Armamar municipality, on Rua da Capela, in the heart of the village.

The only date we found is the crowd-sourced OpenStreetMap record, which links it to the year 1697; we could not confirm it in historical or heritage sources, so it should be read with caution. There is also no reliable data on its style or on a feast of its own. The village context is firmer: Aldeias has two settlements, Aldeia de Cima and Aldeia de Baixo, separated by the EN 313. In Aldeia de Cima families linked to the nobility settled, as shown by a group of houses with coats of arms, mostly seventeenth-century, several with a private chapel.

The chapel is about 2.3 km in a straight line north-west of the centre of Armamar, a few dozen metres from the parish church and other chapels of the village, so it is easily visited on foot. No opening hours are published.
