Morro Sonoro 2026 — Garden of the Bridge, Vila Nova de Gaia

Morro Sonoro returns to Jardim do Morro in Vila Nova de Gaia with a cycle of twelve free open-air concerts running from June 27 to September 12, 2026, every Saturday at 8pm. Organised by the Vila Nova de Gaia City Council in partnership with the Ritmos association, the festival brings together some of the most relevant names in contemporary alternative music from Portugal and Brazil, blending Brazilian popular music, indie, alternative rock, reggae, dub and sound-system culture.

Still to come are performances by Nuno Lopes (August 8), Ponto de Equilíbrio (August 15), Real Rockers Hi-Fi (August 22), Nunca Mates o Mandarim (August 29), Asa Cobra (September 5) and Femme Falafel, who closes the cycle on September 12.

Jardim do Morro is one of the region's most iconic viewpoints, perched above the Douro river with a direct view over Porto's Ribeira and the Port wine cellars of Gaia — a sunset backdrop that makes every concert a memorable experience. Admission is free and open to everyone, no booking required.
