The Almond Blossom Fair in Freixo de Espada à Cinta celebrates the spectacular flowering of almond trees across the Upper Douro. Around 80 exhibitors offer regional products — almonds, wine, olive oil, honey, cured meats and traditional crafts — with live folklore and street entertainment throughout.
