TAMACA nature – Marco de Canaveses

TAMACA nature is a small estate on the banks of the Tâmega River in Marco de Canaveses, half an hour from Porto, according to its official website. It grew out of a family project that is gradually restoring a previously abandoned place, with a vegetable garden, a stream and woodland.

It has 4 rooms and 2 fully equipped studios, with views of the Tâmega River, the pool and the surrounding landscape, and a decor that reuses old stone presses, beams and traditional Portuguese pieces. There are two pools, a bar, an outdoor fireplace, free Wi-Fi, free parking and family rooms.
