Pinhão Hand to Hand 2026 — Wine Tourism & Culture

Pinhão Hand to Hand 2026 is a wine tourism and culture festival taking place in the heart of the Alto Douro Vinhateiro on June 13-14. Pinhão, one of the Douro's most picturesque and visited villages, becomes the epicentre of a weekend dedicated to wine, art and regional gastronomy.

The festival proposes a route through different points in the village and surrounding quintas, where local artists exhibit their work, wine producers open their cellars, and local restaurants offer special menus with the best regional products.

Pinhão's train station, famous for its hand-painted azulejo tile panels depicting scenes of vineyard life in the Douro, is one of the mandatory starting points of the route. The rabelo boats that still occasionally sail between Régua and Pinhão can be admired from the village quay.
