Cereja Fest 2026 – Youth Week

From August 8 to 12, 2026, the municipality of Resende hosts Cereja Fest – Youth Week, five days of activities for young people across Caldas de Aregos, the town of Resende and the Porto de Rei riverside park on the Douro.

The programme includes bubble football, paintball, water sports, beach volleyball and football, a climbing tower, outdoor cinema, and a foam party with neon lights and DJs into the evening. Throughout the week, young people up to age 30 get free access to the municipal swimming pools.

All activities are free to attend, though advance registration is required for the paintball and beach football tournaments, available through the Municipal Museum or by emailing desporto@cm-resende.pt.

It is worth visiting for the mix of sport, nature and entertainment in one of the most scenic stretches of the Douro, and a good excuse to explore Resende's riverside landscapes and its cherry-growing countryside.
