Montedeiras'26 Youth Music Festival

Montedeiras'26, Marco de Canaveses' flagship youth music festival, takes place on August 7 and 8, 2026. Part of the municipality's summer events programme, the festival aims to energise the local cultural scene and draw a younger audience with two days of live concerts and entertainment. Marco de Canaveses sits on the banks of the Douro river between Porto and the wine region, and has been building a diverse summer cultural calendar that also includes the traditional Festas do Marco and Marchas Populares folk parades. Montedeiras'26 is a good opportunity for visitors to experience contemporary Portuguese music and nightlife alongside a more traditional itinerary through the Douro's wine villages. Free admission.
