About the Event
On July 25, 2026, the village of Pias, in the municipality of Cinfães, hosts the third edition of Noite Branca ("White Night"), one of the liveliest summer nights in the region. The event takes place at the Parque de Lazer de Pias, right on the banks of the Bestança river, bringing together locals, emigrants back home for the summer, and visitors for a big open-air celebration that runs into the early hours.
The programme opens at 3:30pm with DJ JB, followed by a live set from band Show On at 9:30pm, a midnight concert by Léo and Leandro, and DJ Kimono closing out the night. Throughout the afternoon and evening there are also craft stalls and activities for children, in the kind of relaxed, community atmosphere typical of the small villages of the Douro's interior.
Pias is one of several riverside villages in Cinfães, on the Douro's southern bank, and Noite Branca has quickly become a summer tradition that draws visitors from outside the region — many of them former residents returning home on holiday to reconnect with the community. Entry is free.
