Côa Summer Fest 2026

Côa Summer Fest returns to Vila Nova de Foz Côa from August 6 to 8, 2026, for three nights of live music with free admission and free camping. Organized by the Vila Nova de Foz Côa Youth Association (AJGF) with support from the municipal council, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, and sponsors including Super Bock, the festival aims to draw thousands of visitors to the Upper Douro. The 2026 line-up includes Chico da Tina, with DJ sets from Diego Gonzalez rounding out the night-time programme. Beyond the music, the festival combines a pool party, local food stalls and a relaxed atmosphere set against the Côa Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its prehistoric rock art. It is aimed primarily at a younger crowd but welcomes any visitor looking for a distinctive summer experience in the Douro interior.
