Encontros com a Música 2026 — Gondomar

The Gondomar Municipal Auditorium hosts, throughout the year, the Encontros com a Música cycle, a series of eight classical concerts that pair music with other art forms through short, narrated performances. Within the coming months, two sessions stand out: "Música e Literatura" on September 24, exploring the dialogue between literary texts and musical composition, and "O Romantismo na Música e na Pintura" on October 22, dedicated to the relationship between music and the visual arts of the Romantic period.

Each concert begins at 9:30 PM and lasts around 45 minutes, including historical and thematic commentary that helps the audience engage with the pieces performed. The cycle continues with "As Quatro Estações de Vivaldi" (Vivaldi's Four Seasons) on November 26, closing out the 2026 season.

Admission is free, subject to room capacity, making this one of the most accessible and regular cultural programmes in the Gondomar area, aimed at both seasoned classical music audiences and newcomers to the genre.
