Feira da Maçã de Armamar 2026

From 2 to 4 October, Armamar once again celebrates the Mountain Apple, a high-altitude fruit prized for its firm texture and excellent keeping qualities, with a fair bringing together regional producers, food tastings, cultural entertainment, live music, crafts and family activities.

The weekend's highlight is the VI Trail and Walk "Rota da Maçã de Montanha" on 3 October, combining physical activity with a discovery of the municipality's orchards and landscapes. The event offers different difficulty levels — a trail run (around 20 km), a shorter trail (12 km) and a walk (8 km) — welcoming experienced athletes, beginners and families alike along signposted trails, rural paths and municipal roads, with supply points along the route.

With this fair, Armamar reinforces its commitment to rural and gastronomic tourism, showcasing a product of excellence from the Douro region and the mountain scenery that surrounds it.
