A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful viewpoints over Porto and Gaia, the Serra do Pilar Monastery is a masterpiece of 17th-century Portuguese Mannerism. Its singular circular plan, with round church and cloister, is unique in Portugal. The terrace offers the most iconic view over Porto, the Ribeira and the bridges over the Douro.
