On August 4, 2026, starting at 7pm, the Foz Tua picnic park in the Carrazeda de Ansiães municipality hosts another edition of Sunset Foz Tua, a relaxed late-afternoon gathering right where the Tua river meets the Douro.
The programme features live music from Banda Índice and a DJ set by Dj Rebelo, setting the mood for watching the sun go down over the Tua waters, in one of the most beautiful and lesser-known corners of the Douro region. Anyone wanting to stay for a snack can count on the on-site bar run by Atlético Clube do Tua, serving drinks and light bites throughout the evening.
It is a family-friendly event and a quieter alternative to the region's bigger summer festivities — just bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy the scenery. Admission is completely free all evening.
