About the Event
The Douro Wine Route — Spring Weekend 2026 invites wine and gastronomy lovers to a total immersion weekend in the Douro Valley on April 18-19. A partnership between IVDP, CVR Douro and the municipalities of Régua and Alijó (Pinhão), this event proposes a guided itinerary through the region's finest quintas, with wine tastings, cellar visits and unforgettable gastronomic moments.
The itinerary begins in Régua, where you can visit the Douro Museum and the train station with its famous azulejo tile panels. It then proceeds to the upper Douro, passing through Pinhão and surrounding quintas where visitors taste young wines, reserve wines and vintage collections in a carefully crafted sequence.
Prices include transport between quintas, wine tastings at each location, and a traditional lunch with regional products. Registration is online and places are limited.
