29th Apple, Wine & Olive Oil Fair

From August 28 to 30, 2026, Carrazeda de Ansiães hosts the 29th edition of the Apple, Wine & Olive Oil Fair, one of the most representative events for this Douro plateau municipality's agricultural economy. The fair celebrates three products central to local identity — apples grown in the municipality's high-altitude orchards, Douro DOC wine, and olive oil from the demarcated region — with producer stalls, tastings, live music and family activities. Set in one of the highest parts of the Douro valley, overlooking the river and the Tua and Douro dams, Carrazeda de Ansiães is a lesser-known Douro destination with a strong agricultural and scenic identity. The fair is a good opportunity to discover local producers off the region's more touristic circuits. Free admission.
