Morro Sonoro 2026 — Jardim do Morro, Vila Nova de Gaia

Between June 27 and September 12, 2026, Jardim do Morro in Vila Nova de Gaia hosts Morro Sonoro, a twelve-concert cycle of free open-air shows promoted by Gaia Municipality together with the Ritmos association, always in the late afternoon, with a privileged view over the Douro river and the city of Porto.

The line-up brings together Portuguese and Brazilian artists linked to contemporary music, alternative song, rock, reggae, dub and electronic sounds, including Maria Luiza Jobim, Tulipa Ruiz, Ana Frango Elétrico, Nunca Mates o Mandarim, Asa Cobra, Hot Air Balloon, RABBIT, Femme Falafel and Nuno Lopes, among others. The remaining dates from late July onward include RABBIT (August 1), Nuno Lopes (August 8), Ponto de Equilíbrio (August 15), Real Rockers Hi-Fi (August 22), Nunca Mates o Mandarim (August 29), Asa Cobra (September 5) and Femme Falafel, who closes the cycle on September 12.

Concerts start around 8pm, at sunset, and admission is completely free with no advance registration required. Jardim do Morro, next to the upper station of the Gaia Cable Car and directly facing Porto's Ribeira, is one of the region's most popular viewpoints, making Morro Sonoro one of the most appealing summer programmes by the Douro.
