Porto Pianofest 2026 — 11th Edition

From August 1 to 11, 2026, Porto Pianofest returns for its 11th edition, bringing together more than 20 national and international pianists for concerts across some of Porto's most iconic venues. The festival opens on August 1 at Casa da Música with the Portuguese debut of the Aaron Parks Trio, and the programme extends to the University of Porto's Reitoria, the Serralves Museum, the Museu Romântico, the Casa Comum, and — reaching further into the Douro — concerts in Peso da Régua, in the heart of the Douro Vinhateiro region.

Ahead of the official opening, Mercado do Bolhão hosts the traditional Piano Marathon on July 30. During the festival, free lunchtime concerts take place at the Museu Romântico on August 6 and 7, designed to bring new audiences closer to the piano, and a Family Concert is scheduled for August 8 at Casa Comum.

For visitors exploring Porto or passing through the Douro, Porto Pianofest is a rare chance to pair high-calibre classical and jazz music with some of the city's and the wine region's most striking architectural settings.
